Angelo Rizzoli is the last great patron of our time. Arriving in Lacco Ameno in the 1950s, he transformed the island of Ischia with his brilliance and foresight.

He renovated the thermal baths and built the prestigious Regina Isabella Hotel.
In 1962, he donated the “Anna Rizzoli” hospital to the island, providing Ischia with necessary infrastructure for the health of the islanders and the many visitors.
Thanks to his publishing empire and success in cinema, Rizzoli has left an indelible mark on Italian culture.
With his extraordinary commitment and the enthusiasm of the community, Lacco Ameno became a must-visit destination for international celebrities, leading to unprecedented social, economic, and tourist development.
